Dust off your sneakers

The night is just about here. Book off a half hour or so of exercise with your fellow neighbourhood dog-walkers. It is all about having a sense of community spirit and a love for your dog and the great out-doors. The sun is shining brighter as the days gradually get longer. Spring fever is hitting and Shero wants to run and play. What better way to do it AND get out and exercise on a regular basis then walking with a group.
The current route will change over the course of the upcoming weeks to mix things up a bit. We will also plan to have doggy romps at Shubie Park once a month and a parent social at the new local coffee shop sans dogs! Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas by leaving a comment.

My sweet Yorkie-Poo
This is Rosie. She has a few issues, as some of you are already aware of. She doesn't like to walk. As with most siblings, she is polar opposite of her big sister. What she lacks in doggy socialization, she makes up for it with her cuddles and cuteness! Needless to say she will not be joining us on most of our walks, but will make guest appearances once and awhile.

Welcome Aboard

I would like to officially welcome you to PUPS. It is a brand new group which is growing daily. The whole purpose of the group is to exercise on a regular basis with our dogs while with other dog owners. It will be good for our dogs and us! I have set up a route starting at my house., at 6:55. and as I walk towards the school, I'll be joined by other dogs and owners. It will be a 3.5 km loop, but you can hop on or hop off at any time along the way. Our first walk will be March 31st. I'll send out a reminder the day before.
