A Great walk with little Murphy

A new member joined me on a walk last night. His name is Murphy and he's a fiesty shi-zhu who loves to walk. The weather was a little damp but the dogs didn't seem to mind much. Getting out for a walk with the dogs is a great way to explore our nice new paths and to get to know other memebers of the neighbourhood at the same time! I won't be out on Thursday night because I have to work, but please feel free to meet at the PUPS rock by the playground at 6:30. I will try to send Shero with my husband and son. If it's raining stay dry inside and I'll see you Tuesday.

Spring is in the air with a hint of winter

P.U.P.S. is officially underway! Last night we had four walkers and three dogs (Jake, Shero and Summer) on our walk. It was great to get out there and go on a good walk of 8K. This isn't the route we will be doing bi-weekly, but it made for a great kick-off for the group. We were joined by friends (Summer#2, Bella and Cassie) at the field after the walk and they still had energy for a full-on romp!The winter part of the Spring hit us quickly so off to home we went. Can you believe my over-grown puppy still wanted to play? If only I had that kind of energy. Thanks everyone for coming out and we'll see you on Tuesday night weather pending.

If you want to take part in the very first official dog walking social group this side of Ontario then pick up your leash and head to the field. Shero and Cassy will be waiting for you until 6:40 and then we'll take the pups on a walk. I'm hoping to get a few more walkers this week. Thanks for coming out Raylene!
